One of the most stylized games in recent years, the Borderlands series, has recruited fans through a series of unique features. One of the best aspects is the ability to revisit the wide array of bosses players face throughout the game. Gaining strength and running through enemies that once caused fits is one of the most satisfying experiences around.

A perk of being able to replay bosses is the loot, stacking resources and hoping for the increasingly rare Legendary drop. Some of the best weapons in the game can be collected and used to build an arsenal, eventually cutting down some of the game's golden geese in minimal time and unlocking the biggest treasure piles in the Borderlands.

8 Graveward

Borderland's 3 boss

Lodged into the main story, Graveward should be familiar to anyone who's played the game. His high damage attacks are easily avoided, making those maximum difficulty rewards one of the easiest to collect. Players who have big damage attacks should be able to mow through the boss in a flash.

Focusing on its head and chest for the most direct route, its lack of an immunity phase lets the player dish out damage at a constant pace. Among a long list of legendary items that can drop, the exclusive Grave drop can be a lifesaver as it gives the player benefits the less health they have.

7 Killavolt

Borderland's 3 Boss

Killavolt tends to be a little trickier for players than most of the bosses on the list. His range attacks force the players to remain mobile. This will also help players reach the boss's back where critical hits occur, an opportunity that doesn't come around too often.

Make sure to keep range, Killavolt can deal massive damage in close and will draw players in for the main attacks. Dropping the Shocking 9-Volt, it can easily take down shields and open the enemy's defenses, making way for the Monarch, one of the most devastating assault rifles in the game.

6 Gigamind

Borderland's 3 boss

One of the weakest bosses in the game with some of the best gear, Gigamind is more about taking out the drones and defenses than the boss itself. The shield will be important as the drones rain down fire while players are focused on the Gigamind.

Use shock weapons to take down the shield more effectively and make sure to manage the minions so it's not too swamped. Once the brain has been defeated enough, the Smart Gun XXL becomes a walking turret at the player's command. The Red Card is another shield that can be used offensively for aggressive players that don't value defense.

5 Captain Traunt

Borderland's 3 Traunt

Though he may be intimidating with his giant leaps, players should stay on the inside with this enemy. Launching elemental waves to the rim of the fight, they can deal massive damage if the player takes the hit. Aiming for the generator on his back is the prime target, opening up the giant to big damage.

Shock weapons will once again come in handy, in conjunction with the weak spots it can take down the monster easily. The Tankman's Shield sniper can stack damage and become on the most devastating drops available. The Kaoson SMG shoots projectiles that latch onto the enemy and explode with two rounds of damage.

4 Warden

Borderland's 3 Boss

Distance is key in the Warden fight as he gets increasingly more enraged, he doesn't get stunned and will be on the offensive throughout the entire fight. The only break players will get is when he charges up his projectiles, a chance for healing and minion clean up.

While this might not be the quickest boss fight, his drops are some of the biggest explosions in the game. The Freeman rocket launcher lets players guide their own missiles, navigating both minions and landscapes to reach the target. Plaguebearer can shoot multiple projectiles that all hit the opponent at once and single out specific enemies.

3 Mouthpiece

Borderland's 3 boss

Only the second boss of Borderlands 3, Mouthpiece is a surprisingly great farm for so early in the game. His stylized fight style is distracting so pay attention, the flare of his weapons mask some serious risks in battle. The environment also works in his favor; watch out for the red glow of speaker wires and avoid the speaker or the character will be blown across the room.

The Mind-Killer drop is one of the fastest reaction shotgun in the game, with no charge time and one of the most accurate shots available. The Nemesis pistol is a great choice for shielded enemies, having dual elements that can cover an array of opponents.

2 Aurelia

Borderland's 3 Boss

Aurelia is a boss fight with a lot of weak spots, vulnerable to Corrosive, Incendiary, and Shock weapons that the player can use. Instantly chipping away at her icy defenses will speed up the fight by a lot, her special attacks can easily be avoided to prevent damage.

She exclusively drops the Frozen Heart, a shield that will explode upon breaking, freezing the enemies as soon as they break through the icy defense. Juliet's Dazzle is a big prize, its bullet able to pass through multiple enemies and deal damage to groups with only one shot.

1 Tyreen Calypso

Borderlands 3 Boss

The final boss of the entire game, Tyreen's drops are expectedly legendary. Running through the phases is surprisingly quick with the right equipment and the spoils of the fight contain some of the best weapons in the entire game.

The King's and Queen's Call are the loot drops, both highly specialized pistols that can make or break a player. Slow reload rates and a special effect that only triggers on critical hits, the pistols either hit very big or underwhelm in terms of damage.
